Born and raised in San Francisco California Jack Pollard brings a lifetime of experience to the stage.
2018 was a very busy year, as most are, because while performing all around northern California he took out time to record two new albums one titled "Smooth Patch and the other "Jack Pollard sings Nat King Cole" with “The Thomas Bercy Trio” which was recorded in Monteton France near Bordeaux at Studio La Tour.
As an entertainer and a showman, His silky baritone and impeccable vocal interpretation brings to life a repertoire of songs which span decades of hits from the 30's to the 80's and beyond. Jack’s Vocal influences were, Sam Cooke Lou Rawls, Nat King Cole, Joe Williams, Frank Sinatra and many others.
Jack started out singing in San Francisco in a vocal quintet at the age of 18, and shortly after their inception were signed to the same record label as a world renown vocal group called “The Whispers”, So as a result during that time, they were the opening act for them frequently and they also opened for B.B. King at Stockton Civic Auditorium in 1970, and many other notable performers and groups. Jack was a primary lead singer in his vocal group and after 10 years with them launched his solo career.
He continues to perform the popular tunes he did with his group but has expanded his repertoire to the American Song book of standards, blues, rock, French and a few country tunes as well. He does yearly European tours and performs locally at Clubs and Restaurants through The Bay Area regularly.
